Yoga has been a good friend to me for over 30 years, and has helped me to develop strength and trust in my body, and find a place of deep inner peace. I completed two yoga teacher training programs, most recently with Patty Townsend at the Yoga Center in Amherst. Other important teachers are Judith Lasater (Restorative Yoga), Todd Norian and Ann Greene (year-long Anusara Immersion). I am currently a student of Tasha Judson (Iyengar). An important training for me was the Advanced Training Course in the Chakra System with Anodea Judith and Selene Vega, which has helped me to integrate the subtle and energetic body into my practice and teaching. I have studied meditation with Swami Muktananda, Amrit Desai and Thich Nhat Hanh. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to study with so many masters.
My classes are personalized, contemplative, gentle and help you learn to listen to your body as you strengthen, invigorate, and deeply relax.

For the past 22 years my yoga teaching partner, Rachel, and I have been leading deeply satisfying yoga retreats. We have many people who come year after year, and new people feel welcome at our retreats.
